The Green Figure
£100.00
An expressive figure in deep green.
Description
The Green Figure is an expressive figurative work featuring a figure in deep green, balancing a tray of three vivid red vessels overhead. Loose brushwork, strong outlines and areas of exposed paper give the piece a spontaneous, distinctive character.
The contrast between the deep green clothing, warm yellow hair and red vessels creates a simple but striking composition, while the deliberately unfinished quality gives the work its individual charm.
