Running free

Description

Running Free is a vibrant and expressive landscape built from bold blocks of colour and energetic brushwork. Deep blues and greens form the sky and trees, while vivid reds, warm golds and rich purples create contrasting layers across the landscape.

Small running figures add a sense of movement to the scene, while the strong vertical form of the central tree gives the composition structure. The combination of intense colour, simplified forms and spontaneous brushwork gives the painting a playful and contemporary character.

A distinctive piece for anyone looking for colourful, unconventional artwork with plenty of visual energy.
